Futur I is used in German to describe actions that will happen in the future. It’s formed with a conjugated form of werden plus the infinitive of the main verb at the end of the sentence.

Using Time Expressions

Time expressions specify when something will happen. Place them at the beginning or after the subject to clarify the timing.

• später (later)

Examples:

• Wir werden nächste Woche reisen.

You can also combine time expressions with specific plans, for example:
